Tom Arthur, MSP for Renfrewshire South, has held a successful surgery at Morrisons in Johnstone this week.

Tom made clear after his election that he intended on being an accessible MSP, with a shop front office on Johnstone High Street and regular surgeries in locations all across Renfrewshire South.

The supermarket surgery gave constituents the opportunity to chat with Tom in an informal environment, but one convenient for them.

Speaking after the surgery, Tom said:

“I had a great time at Morrisons in Johnstone and I’m so pleased that the store was able to organise this.

“The constituents I spoke to were pleased to be able to meet in a way that suited them, and we covered a wide range of topics.

“I’d like to thank everyone who stopped for a conversation and to ask me to help with an issue.

“This was a great success and shows the importance of politicians being visible and accessible to their constituents and I look forward to organising these regularly across the constituency.”
